Dr. Mahendra Narwaria did his post-graduation in General Surgery from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1996, and pursued his interest in Surgical Gastroentrology. He joined Sanjay Gandhi Post graduate Institute (SGPGI), Lucknow, under the mentorship of Prof SP Kaushik to acquire gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgical skills. His perpetual drive for excellence & up gradation of skills prompted him to take up ‘Bariatric Surgery‘, which is a rather new concept for India, but a raging surgical discipline in the developed nations. He trained himself in this novel area under able guidance of Prof Jean L Dulucq (France), Dr.Aniceto Baltasar (Spain), Dr.Pattyn (Belgium), Dr.Luc Lemmens (Belgium), Dr.Felix Schier (Germany), and Dr Sunil Sharma (USA). Dr Narwaria has a dynamic personality with a tremendous stamina to work hard for the upliftment of health the health care. He is also a visiting consultant to various hospitals in India and abroad. He is one of the pioneers in the field of obesity surgery in India and his patients receive all possible services of Bariatric Surgery under one roof. |

With an excellent academic track record, Dr Lakshman obtained his medical degree with multiple awards, from Dr. SN Medical College, Jodhpur. He then completed his post-graduation in General Surgery from the same institute in 2001. Before undertaking MCh in gastrointestinal surgery form All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Dr Khiria Joined GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi, as senior resident under the mentorship of Prof Adarsh Chaudhary to acquire gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgical skills. His interests lie in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery and bariatric surgery. Dr Khiria is a visiting consultant to Sterling hospital, SAL hospital, and Rajasthan hospitals. |

Dr Vineet graduated from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1999. He then pursued his interest in surgery and obtained his Masters from BJ Medical College in 2002. Dr Vineet has excellent academic records and has received multiple awards during his medical career. After completing his post-graduation, Dr Vineet joined as an Assistant Professor in the department of general surgery at BJ medical college, Ahmedabad till 2005. His areas of interest are colorectal surgery, MIPH, STRAM procedure and advanced laparoscopic surgery. |

Dr Shilpa graduated from BJ Medical in 1997. She subsequently went on to pursue her interest in the field of telemedicine with the aim of providing health care to those who are deprived of such facilities because of the non-availability or inaccessibility to specialists’ care. She is working hard for the upliftment of healthcare services in remote areas. Presently she is actively participating in teleconsultations, teleconferencing, and live demonstrations across the country and abroad. |
